AWARDED: $5M CEC Grant
Islanding & Blackstart-Capable Microgrid for SRJC Center for Sustainable Energy Tim led the conceptual and architectural design of a resilient 2MW/2MWh microgrid enabling full islanding and blackstart capability across Santa Rosa Junior College’s 12.7kV campus grid. He assembled the multidisciplinary project team and authored the technical and business case for the successful $5M grant proposal awarded by the California Energy Commission. The project delivers critical resiliency in a wildfire-prone region and has ben successfully demonstrated with PG&E. Key Features:
